I can’t remember a day I went into work not thinking about my overwhelming workload. I can barely remember a day I took a full lunch break. I’ve been working 10-12 hours everyday for way too long and it’s starting to take a toll on my brain. I’m way too positive and uplifting to be cranky/annoyed.
After spending the weekend hanging out with my family and being my 100% self it started to dawn on me, what’s actually important in life. I love my job and want to help as much as I can, but I love myself more. So to keep true to my 2012 resolution, I’m putting the 50 hour workweek to an end and coming home while the sun is still up to finish organizing my closet and making my room look like a living space instead of a storage bin. I’m also going to have more time to see my family and of course more time to hang out with my friends.

My two friends that I introduced to each other 5 years ago got married. Not only was I not invited to the wedding, but I wasn’t even hit up with a thank you text to say “hey thanks for letting me find my soul mate” Not bitter, I hope they’re happy together. However I am taking it all in cause that’s a dick move. Ranting on the internet via my blog to say, don’t take people for granted.

I love Bambi. I actually have the McDonald toy of Bambi from this scene, from back in the day. I take it out every once in awhile. ;D (Eb Fact: I have all of my McDonald’s toys from back in the day— ALL OF THEM!)
