Had to leave the tuned in turntable.fm night to pick up some things for work. This is one of those rare occasions I wish I had an iphone. Hopefully the Android app is out soon. Thankfully Steph & Steve held down the fort like the awesome godparents they are!

Dear Friends,

This April, two days after my 23rd birthday, I am walking a half-marathon (13.1 miles) to raise awareness and support for the MAGIC Foundation, an organization that is near and dear to me. 

The MAGIC Foundation provides medical information to doctors & support to families of children with growth disorders. At birth I was diagnosed with a rare growth disorder, Russell Silver Syndrome (RSS), & it was 13 years ago at MAGIC’s annual convention where my parents finally found the resources needed for me to grow beyond my projected height of 4’8”—I reached 5’ thanks to MAGIC.

The MAGIC Foundation has given me more than those four inches! 
MAGIC has provided me:
- crucial support for my family over the years
- a whole weekend once a year with people who get ‘it’ and are the best extended family a girl could ask for.
- the opportunity to provide support for parents of children with RSS

On 4/30/2011, I will be walking and running in the 2011 Country Music Half Marathon and my goal is to raise $5,000 for MAGIC.

I feel like I need more traditions. Weekly, Monthly, Yearly… Something I want to work on for 2010. Who’s with me?

I’m all about this. I like consistency a lot. I wish I had game nights, and movie nights and things like that. I have a lot more “free-time” than others though.

There’s always enough time, if you make it.

I agree. You don’t have to tell me, have to tell others. It took me a long time but I now believe that always enough time to do things if you really want to do them.

Looks like you have a president and vice president of the monthly friends tradition club. Not gonna lie, I’ll forget about these and possibly not make it to most nights. But I’ll attempt to show just keep me posted and remind me frequently.

2. I rather have my heart broken a thousand times than hurt another human being
3. Whenever I’m watching TV and a deserving family gets a help, or a new chance on life I cry. 100% of the time
4. The only time I drink soda is with alcohol, unless it’s cream soda or I get a craving. I also drink basically everything at room temperature.
5. I give my number to too many guys I have no interest in, and turn down everyone that hits on me first. I guess I prefer the hard-to-reach.
